Rebecca specialises in employment law in both the public and private sector. Rebecca is an effective advocate for her clients, always focussing on long term legal strategies and practical outcomes. Rebecca’s work predominantly focuses on protecting the rights of employees by assisting them with matters involving underpayment, unfair dismissal, adverse action, discrimination, and public service misconduct proceedings (Code of Conduct allegations). Conversely, Rebecca’s experience acting for employees has given her the tools to advise employers on effective strategies to deal with difficult and/or litigious employees. Rebecca also has a special interest in defamation law and has experience in that area.

Rebecca graduated from the ANU in July 2016 with first class honours in Law. She joined BAL Lawyers immediately afterwards as a law graduate and was subsequently admitted to legal practice in ACT in 2017. She was promoted to the role of Senior Associate in July 2022.
