Perry started his law career as a paralegal working alongside estate lawyers at a boutique family and estate law firm in 2015. After that, he worked in a local boutique commercial law firm where, in addition to continuing his wills and estates practice, he branched out into other areas such as dispute resolution, professional negligence, leasing and conveyancing.

Perry has broad experience in all aspects of estates, including estate planning, probate and administration, estate disputes and estates litigation. With several years of experience navigating complex estate matters, Perry provides holistic and practical solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs and communicates in a straightforward way. Perry’s main area of practice is advising clients in estate disputes and litigation, including family provision claims, with a view to resolving matters quickly and effectively.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University (ANU), from which he graduated with honours in 2018. The following year he completed his Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting, from ANU. He was admitted to the ACT Supreme Court as a solicitor in June 2019 and joined BAL Lawyers in January 2021.

Perry is an active member of the ACT Law Society’s Elder Law & Succession Law Committee and was listed as a Doyle’s Guide Rising Star in Estates (NSW and ACT) in 2023. In 2024, he graduated with a Masters of Applied Law (majoring in Wills and Estates) from the College of Law.
