Mabel began her legal career at a boutique Canberra law firm, where she practised for nearly two decades. Before joining BAL Lawyers, she was a Principal Lawyer, leading the firm’s Wills and Estates practice and co-heading a team of commercial and litigation lawyers and conveyancers.
Holding qualifications in both law and accounting, Mabel brings a rare blend of technical insight and practical experience to her work. She provides comprehensive advice across all aspects of estate practice, including estate administration, disputes, and family and business succession planning. Her approachable and thoughtful manner ensures that her clients receive clear, compassionate, and pragmatic guidance through often sensitive matters
Mabel graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University in 2008 and later completed a Masters in Accounting. She is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) and an active member of the Elder Law and Succession Committee. Mabel has been consistently recognised in Doyle’s Guide as a recommended lawyer in Estate Litigation.
