Andrew’s practice focuses on town planning, environmental and local government law. He regularly assists clients through the compulsory land acquisitions process, having advised on acquisitions for major local council infrastructure projects, road widening and easements for services.
Having grown up in regional NSW, Andrew has a particular interest in the application of planning legislation for rural councils dealing with environmental and planning issues.
Andrew seeks to build lasting relationships with his clients, listening carefully to their needs to fully understand what they are dealing with in order to provide considered solutions.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Science (Resource and Environmental Management) from the Australian National University. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2011 and joined BAL in 2016.
