Alice practises in environment and planning law and brings a genuine understanding of, and interest in, environmental and planning issues at the regional level. Alice provides advice and representation to a number of local councils on a wide range of environment, planning and local government issues in NSW, including statutory interpretation and enforcement. Reflecting the broad range of issues for which local councils have responsibility, Alice also advises on administrative law issues and local government practice and procedure.

Alice also acts for private clients in the ACT providing advice on the application of ACT planning legislation to development in the Territory and was a Director of Greening Australia (Capital Region).

Prior to starting at the firm in 2011, Alice worked for a large national firm for four years providing commercial law advice to Commonwealth and State Governments, specialising in procurement, probity and contracting. Alice continues to apply her commercial experience to advise councils on a range of procurement issues and contract disputes.

Alice was admitted to practice in 2009, and holds a Bachelor of Science (Resource and Environmental Management), and a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University and is also currently undertaking a Masters of Laws in Environmental Law at the Australian National University. Since 2013, Alice has also tutored Environmental and Planning Law at the University of Canberra.
