Ed aims to take a practical, yet respectful and personal approach to every matter.  His practice includes advising both employers and employees on a wide range of workplace matters, including unfair dismissal, misconduct investigations, bullying and harassment (including sexual harassment), discrimination, adverse action, underpayments, breach of contract and enterprise agreements.

Ed began his industrial relations career working at the IEU, the principal union in the private education sector, where his efforts were focused primarily in the areas of internal disciplinary processes, underpayments, occupational regulation, workplace health & safety, enterprise agreement bargaining and other employment related matters.

Following his time at the IEU, Ed became an Associate at the Fair Work Commission. In this role, he gained significant exposure to a broad spectrum of Commission matters, including unfair dismissals, general protections, stop bullying at work orders, sexual harassment matters, enterprise agreement approvals, industrial action, industrial disputes, and bargaining matters.

Ed graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Economics. He is admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Queensland and holds a current ACT Legal Practising Certificate.
