Laura practices primarily in commercial litigation, with a focus on contractual claims, leasing disputes and insolvency law. Admitted in 2013, she has represented clients in jurisdictions from the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal through to the NSW Court of Appeal and Criminal Court of Appeal. Laura acts for individuals, corporate clients and local government clients, providing tailored, outcome-driven advice.

As an experienced litigator, Laura’s knowledge of practice and procedure ensures that proceedings are commenced and conducted efficiently and effectively. Her experience involves obtaining, assessing and enforcing costs orders to secure maximum returns for her clients. Laura recognises that litigation is not the only option available and utilises dispute resolution processes to achieve outcomes without recourse to litigation where necessary.

Laura joined Williams Love & Nicol, predecessor of BAL Lawyers, in 2010 while studying at the Australian National University and was promoted to Senior Associate in July 2017.
