Ellen advises on tax effective estate planning strategies for clients in a variety of personal circumstances. She routinely drafts Wills (including Discretionary Testamentary Trusts), Enduring Powers of Attorney and Superannuation Death Benefit Nominations to ensure clients have a holistic estate plan.

Ellen regularly administers estates and secures Grants of Probate across all Australian jurisdictions. Many of her clients own assets overseas which adds a level of complexity both at the estate planning stage and during the estate administration.  She is empathetic, has a sharp attention for detail and prides herself on ensuring the estate administration process is efficient and smooth.

Ellen has undertaken complex property transfers, both in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, which involved tracing the executor’s chain of succession through numerous deceased estates.

Ellen brings a commercial understanding to matters where required, having previously worked in the Business and Corporate section at Bradley Allen Love.

Ellen has completed a Master of Laws (Applied Law) majoring in Wills & Estates. She has been with Bradley Allen Love since January of 2013 and was admitted to practice in the ACT Supreme Court in 2014.  Ellen was promoted to Director in December 2019, and has been individually recognised by the Doyle’s Guide as a leading Lawyer for both Wills & Estates Litigation and Wills, Estates Litigation and Succession Planning in the ACT.
