Government & Councils
Our Planning and Environment team is led by Alan Bradbury who has more than 25 years’ experience in administrative law and dispute resolution with a particular emphasis on planning, environmental, local Government law and work with councils.
Alan and his team offer “top tier” environmental law experience with personable and efficient service: providing advice on contaminated land issues, liability associated with climate related sea level change and environmental regulation and enforcement under the Environment Protection Biodiversity and Conservation Act 1999 (Cth) (EPBC Act).
We have extensive experience in representing local government throughout South Eastern and Central Western New South Wales and currently act for 15 local councils in the region. This experience has given us a strong appreciation of the objectives, needs and concerns of local government and a detailed understanding of the legislative framework in which they operate and the legislation and policies they administer. We represent ‘safe hands’ for local councils, delivering timely, accurate and practical advice to support Councils in serving their communities.
Bradley Allen Love understand the administrative legal framework within which Commonwealth and Local Government operate, and are highly experienced in advising governments of all levels, companies and individuals on administrative and public law, including information law related to privacy, secrecy and confidentiality and freedom of information, the operation and interpretation of legislation, and administrative review and decision making.
